Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to design and integrate electrical power systems across MV/LV distribution, with a focus on safety-related and regulatory compliance in high-reliability environments.

You will perform ETAP-based studies, develop engineering deliverables, and collaborate with suppliers to specify major components while adhering to IEEE/IEC/CSA/NEC and CNSC/NRC standards.

Qualifikationen

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) and a professional engineering licence (US PE, Canadian PEng, or internationally recognised equivalent).
• Experience in heavy or high-reliability industries such as nuclear, power generation, process, marine, oil & gas, or military environments.
• Hands-on experience with electrical analysis tools (particularly ETAP) and proficiency with digital engineering and collaboration platforms (Hexagon SPEL, DOORS-NextGen, AutoCAD, MicroStation or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of IEEE, IEC, CSA, NEC standards, with experience in grid integration, generator interconnection agreements, and protection & control systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead design and integration of safety-related (SC1/Class 1E) and non-safety (SC2/SC3) electrical systems including MV/LV distribution architectures.
• Perform complex electrical studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, relay coordination) using ETAP per ANSI/IEC standards.
• Prepare deliverables such as Requirements Specifications, Electrical Load Lists, One-Line Diagrams, Calculations, Schematics, and 3-Line Diagrams.
• Develop procurement specifications for major electrical components and coordinate with suppliers throughout procurement.
• Support regulatory compliance and licensing per CNSC/NRC and applicable codes (IEEE, IEC, CSA, NEC, EU).
