RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Mobility Operations Specialist to support enterprise mobility, manage end-user devices, and coordinate with BU Mobile Leads. The role covers design, deployment and ongoing maintenance of mobility solutions, with emphasis on security, governance, and rapid incident response.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in mobility operations, strong vendor relations, and experience with MDM, AD/Azure AD, and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience architecting and deploying mobility/enterprise operations solutions.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management software and governance.

Responsibilities

• Support end users across the enterprise.
• Design and develop enterprise mobility operations solutions.
• Partner with BU Mobile Leads on end user support system consolidation and escalations.
• Track and close ticket escalations using MDM tools and ServiceNow.
• Create and modify Knowledge Based Articles.
• Vendor management and partnerships.
• Contribute to new engineering and service technologies innovations.
• Consolidate Mobile Operations Processes including deployment, upgrades, packaging, device depot and helpdesk.
• Undertake complex projects and ad-hoc requests.
• Provide architecture, administration, maintenance and monitoring for multiple MDM environments.
• Suggest improvements to service delivery and security.
• Perform system upgrades of on-premise and cloud servers.
• Maintain documentation such as SOPs and system architecture guides.

The Mobilty Operations Specialist will be responsible for working within a small team of dedicated operational experts to build, test, implement and maintain operational process and solutions based on a set standards and requirements.This includes the ability to translate vendor products, product code, roadmap services and implement without negatively impacting current processes. The Mobility Operations Specialist will provide the engineering and fourth level support for Mobile support and operations services. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding Mobile Device management tools, Mobile security, and how products integrates into RTX and our business units.This Individual will be responsible

for understanding the overall product, how to manage, support and initiate changes including the ability support Mobile hardware, Applications, and MDM tools.

The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for supporting all end users across the enterprise
  • Assist in the design and development of enterprise mobility operations solutions
  • Partner with BU Mobile Leads on end user support system consolidation, ad-hoc requests and escalations as they arise
  • Assist in the tracking and closure of ticket escalations (end user, BU Mobile lead, etc) utilizing various Mobile Device Management (MDM) software
  • Responsible for the creation and modification of Knowledge Based Articles
  • Vendor Management & Partnership
• Continue to execute on new engineering and service technologies innovation
• Assist in the consolidation of Mobile Operations Processes
  • including but not limited to:
    • Device Deployment/ upgrades
    • Packaging/Kitting
    • Device Depot/ Device Reclamation
    • Helpdesk

• Independently undertake projects of a complex nature and ad-hoc requests as required.

• Provides support, (architecture, administration, maintenance, monitoring, backup, contingency), for multiple MDM technologies and environments
• Architects improvement opportunities spanning service delivery, user experience, security, etc.
• Implement and execute system upgrades of the on premise and cloud servers
• Maintain existing and, as required, develop new documentation that will include but is not limited to SOPs and System Architecture Guides and diagrams adhering to organizational templates, policies, and standards
• Participate in 24/7 on call rotation
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience architecting, deploying process improvement solutions
