The Mobility Operations Specialist will be responsible for working within a small team of dedicated operational individuals to build, test, implement and maintain operational processes and solutions based on set standards and requirements. This includes the ability to translate vendor products, product code, roadmap services and implement without negatively impacting current processes. The Mobility Operations Specialist will provide the engineering and fourth level support for mobile support and operations services. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding Mobile Device Management tools, Mobile security, and how products integrate into RTX and our business units. This individual will also manage, support and initiate changes including the ability to support mobile hardware, applications, and MDM tools.
Responsible for supporting all end users across the enterprise, United States and Internationally. Partner with BU Mobile Leads on end user support system consolidation, ad-hoc requests and escalations as they arise. Assist in the tracking and closure of ticket escalations (end user, BU Mobile lead, etc) utilizing various Mobile Device Management (MDM) software. Independently undertake projects of a complex nature and ad-hoc requests as required. Participate in 24/7 on call rotation. Other duties as assigned.
Assist in the design and development of enterprise mobility operations solutions. Continue to execute on new engineering and service technologies innovation. Provides support (architecture, administration, maintenance, monitoring, backup, contingency) for multiple MDM technologies and environments. Architects improvement opportunities spanning service delivery, user experience, security, etc. Implement and execute system upgrades of the on premise and cloud servers.
Vendor Management & Partnership. Assist in the consolidation of Mobile Operations Processes, including but not limited to: Device Deployment/ upgrades, Packaging/Kitting Device Depot/ Device Reclamation. Helpdesk responsible for the creation and modification of Knowledge Based Articles. Maintain existing and, as required, develop new documentation that will include but is not limited to SOPs and System Architecture Guides and diagrams adhering to organizational templates, policies, and standards.
4-7 years of experience in operations or operations activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related discipline.
