Blue Origin is seeking a Senior DSP Fixed-Point Design Engineer to bridge theory and hardware in our Silicon Development team in Krakf3w. You will convert floating-point DSP models to fixed-point implementations and collaborate with RTL and DV teams to deliver flight-ready silicon.

You will perform precision analysis, define hardware-friendly architectures, and optimize for low power, high reliability, and fault tolerance in aerospace applications, working with cross-functional teams across

Formación

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Convert floating-point DSP algorithms to fixed-point models.
• Perform precision/quantization analysis balancing area, power, and SNR.
• Define hardware-friendly DSP architectures with proper word lengths.
• Collaborate with RTL to implement multipliers, CORDIC, FFTs, and filters.
• Create fixed-point test vectors and golden models for DV.
• Optimize for low power, high throughput, and small silicon area.
• Work with cross-functional teams across systems, avionics, and software.
