Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Kraków seeks a Principal FPGA/Prototype Design Engineer to work with the Design Validation team to ensure ASIC designs are fully validated. You will partner with design, verification, and software teams to accelerate hardware integration and support post-silicon bring up.

The role focuses on developing FPGA retargeting flows, delivering prototype platforms, and qualifying emulation environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in FPGA prototyping, emulation, or digital design verification.
• Experience with SystemVerilog or Verilog and FPGA toolchains.
• Familiarity with build automation and release management processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ASIC to FPGA retargeting flows with resource and timing considerations.
• Deliver FPGA prototype platforms across configurations and top levels.
• Qualify emulation platforms for release and test coverage.
• Reproduce and debug prototype and emulation failures with teams.
• Build portable platform environments spanning RTL to silicon.
• Support post-silicon bring up using pre-silicon bench and simulations.
• Accelerate software development and early hardware integration via prototypes.
• Provide triage and direct technical assistance to platform users.
