Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a talented PAA/DBF DSP Simulation & Verification Engineer to join Silicon System team. In this role, you will work closely with RF system and DSP engineers to optimize simulation models for silicon-based components and phased array antenna systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, Applied Math, or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering with MATLAB, Python, and C++.
• Experience profiling and optimizing computational code for speed and memory.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
• Familiarity with numerical methods and scientific computing.
• Git experience.

Responsibilities

• Optimize MATLAB, Python, and C++ models for phased arrays to reduce memory and runtime.
• Profile and benchmark simulation code to identify bottlenecks.
• Refactor legacy MATLAB scripts into modular, maintainable code.
• Implement high-performance C++ algorithms for antenna and silicon modeling.
• Collaborate with RF and DSP engineers to preserve fidelity.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Document strategies and results clearly.
• Support CI pipelines for simulation model validation.
