Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer in a hybrid setup to drive automation, deployment, and cloud operations in Azure. The role requires deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Unix/Linux systems, Shell/Bash, Python, and strong debugging across distributed environments.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment and monitoring, and work with App Services, Azure SQL, Kafka, Flink, and Elastic stack for monitoring and reliability. Hybrid work model; remote-friendly recruitment processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment and monitoring.
• Strong background in DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana): setup, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Experience operating Apache Kafka: cluster setup, topic management, and monitoring.
• Experience deploying and operating Apache Flink streaming jobs.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL: administration, backup/restore, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems and Shell/Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of Python for automation and tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug across distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both modern frameworks and legacy technologies, while also driving automation, deployment, and cloud operations in Azure. In addition to backend development, this role requires solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Unix systems, Shell/Bash, and Python, as well as strong troubleshooting skills to quickly analyze and resolve issues in complex environments.
