Qualifications

Role Description – DevOps + Java

We are looking for an experienced DevOps professional who is also able to understand and work with Java code when needed. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with both modern frameworks and legacy technologies, while driving automation, deployment, and cloud operations in Azure. The role also requires solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Unix/Linux systems, Shell/Bash, and Python, as well as strong troubleshooting skills to analyze and resolve issues in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable delivery to Azure.
• Automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications, including App Services, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Manage and optimize workloads in Unix/Linux environments, including Shell/Bash scripting.
• Develop automation tools and scripts in Python to support DevOps processes.
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across production and development environments.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across environments.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities within the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to debug distributed systems.
