Job summary

BITMUS is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, build and operate scalable Kubernetes platforms within an international infrastructure and cloud environment. You will develop Operators, Custom Controllers and automate infrastructure via IaC, GitOps and CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes Go development, Terraform and Ansible proficiency, plus strong Linux and Docker experience, with English fluency required for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Several years of Kubernetes experience in enterprise environments.
• Excellent Go (Golang) programming skills.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

The project focuses on Kubernetes Platform Engineering and automation within an international infrastructure and cloud environment. The role covers the design, development and operation of Kubernetes platforms, including Operators and Custom Controllers, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, CI/CD and platform automation.

• Develop Kubernetes Operators and Custom Controllers
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes
• Implement Infrastructure as Code concepts
• Implement and further develop GitOps and CI/CD strategies
• Optimize platform scalability, stability and level of automation
• Collaborate closely with Platform, Security and Development teams
• Your profile:
  • Several years of Kubernetes experience in enterprise environments
  • Very good knowledge of Go (Golang)
  • Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code skills
  • Experience with Ansible
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD or comparable tools
  • Experience with GitOps, e.g. ArgoCD
  • Experience with Docker and Linux
  • Very good English skills
