Job summary

BITMUS is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer / System Engineer to focus on Kubernetes, container platforms and application operations for a major healthcare IT client.

You will build secure Kubernetes services, deploy with Docker/Helm, automate processes, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and support 2nd-level incidents while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience operating Linux/Unix systems.
• Very good scripting skills (Bash/Shell).
• Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with Docker and Helm Charts for deployment.
• Knowledge of virtualized systems and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with GitOps approaches and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop secure, scalable Kubernetes-based services.

For a major healthcare IT service provider, our customer is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer / System Engineer focused on Kubernetes, container platforms and application operations. The role combines project work with operational support, automation and further development of containerized applications.

• Build and further develop secure and scalable Kubernetes-based services
• Deploy, operate and support applications using Docker and Helm Charts
• Automate and optimize operational processes in a DevOps environment
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Incident and problem management as part of 2nd-level support
• Work closely with development, infrastructure and operations teams to ensure stable application operations
• Your profile:
  • Several years of experience operating Linux/Unix systems
  • Very good scripting skills, e.g. Bash and Shell
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments
  • Experience with container technologies, especially Docker
  • Knowledge of virtualized systems
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps principles
