Job summary

ImproveIT Solutions is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to scale a large Kubernetes platform using Go operators, FluxCD and Crossplane. The role is remote and full-time, with an English-speaking international team.

You will design, build, and operate enterprise-grade clusters, develop Kubernetes Operators with Kubebuilder, and drive platform automation and GitOps practices across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in enterprise-scale environments.
• Proficient in Go (Golang) for building Kubernetes Operators and Custom Controllers.
• Strong understanding of GitOps methodologies and related tooling like FluxCD and Crossplane.
• Experience developing and maintaining Kubernetes Operators using Kubebuilder.
• Experience operating scalable Kubernetes landscapes and automating platform workflows.

Responsibilities

• Scale, enhance, and optimize large Kubernetes cluster environments.
• Design, build, and configure new Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators and Custom Controllers using Go and Kubebuilder.
• Implement and improve platform automation and lifecycle processes.
• Apply GitOps workflows for deployment, configuration management, and reliability.
