BITMUS is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to operate and enhance a self-hosted GitLab platform in AWS. You will automate cloud infra with Terraform, Ansible and Packer, and manage GitLab CI/CD and runners. The role covers Kubernetes, EKS, EC2 and Auto Scaling, with a focus on troubleshooting and platform stability.

Ideal candidates have strong DevOps and cloud engineering background, plus hands-on GitLab experience and IaC skills. Collaboration and continuous process improvement are key.

Formación

• Hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering with strong AWS knowledge.
• Proven ability to operate and optimize self-hosted GitLab platforms and CI/CD.
• Solid Kubernetes experience, especially with AWS EKS, EC2 and Auto Scaling.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible and Packer.
• Strong problem solving, root-cause analysis and platform stabilization.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and develop GitLab CI/CD and GitLab Runners.
• Maintain Kubernetes and AWS components, including EKS and EC2.
• Work with AWS Auto Scaling and monitor platform stability.
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to improve reliability.
• Collaborate within the DevOps environment to enhance automation and processes.

The project focuses on operating and continuously developing a productive self-hosted GitLab platform in AWS. The role combines Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Kubernetes and automation, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, platform stability and scalability.

• Automate and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible and Packer
• Administer and further develop GitLab CI/CD
• Administer and maintain self-hosted GitLab Runners
• Operate and develop Kubernetes and AWS components, including EKS and EC2
• Work with AWS Auto Scaling
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Stabilize and scale the existing DevOps platform
• Collaborate closely within the DevOps environment with a focus on Cloud Engineering and automation
• Continuously improve the platform and operational processes
• Your profile:
  • Strong experience with DevOps and Cloud Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of AWS
  • Experience with self-hosted GitLab platforms
  • Strong knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and GitLab Runner
  • Experience with Kubernetes, especially AWS EKS
  • Experience with AWS EC2 and Auto Scaling
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
  • Experience with Ansible and Packer
  • Experience with troubleshooting and stabilization of productive platforms
