The role owns end-to-end areas — from requirements and design through rollout, operations, and mentoring others. You will be the go-to technical reference for your area, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with a distributed team across

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer / SRE (or very close responsibilities).
• Track record of owning technical initiatives end-to-end.
• Confident Linux skills (Ubuntu).
• Working knowledge of the Prometheus stack: metrics, exporters, alerting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD: pipeline design and delivery.
• Containers: Docker, image building, registries.
• Ansible.
• Git.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting for automation and observability.
• Production/on-call experience: diagnosing incidents and leading post-mortems.
• Mentoring less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own one of our core platform areas end-to-end (observability or CI/CD).
• Drive technical initiatives from requirements to production deployment and post-ops.
• Define requirements, assumptions, and next steps in ambiguous situations.
• Design for reliability and scale across platform architectures.
• Support developers: deploy/monitor on Kubernetes, troubleshoot builds and deployments, assist with metrics/alerts/logs.
• Automate repetitive toil and provisioning tasks.
• Investigate production incidents as senior escalation point and lead post-mortems.
• Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and pairing.
• Leverage AI across day-to-day tasks: research, troubleshooting, development.
