Job summary

Fundraise Up in Poland is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to own an area (observability or CI/CD) end-to-end, from design to production, mentoring others and serving as the senior escalation point.

You will work with VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Graylog, Jenkins, Harbor, Nexus, and Kubernetes (Helm) across on-prem and cloud, improving reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer / SRE (or very close responsibilities).
• Track record of owning technical initiatives end-to-end — from requirements and technical design through production delivery.
• Confident Linux skills (we use Ubuntu).
• Working knowledge of the Prometheus stack: metric types, exporters, and how alerting works.

Responsibilities

• Own one core platform area end-to-end: observability or CI/CD — drive architecture, reliability, and roadmap.
• Drive initiatives end-to-end: gather requirements, write design docs, decompose tasks, implement, deliver to production, manage health.
• Define requirements, assumptions, and next steps to bring clarity in ambiguity.
• Design for reliability and scale: evolve topology, integration, scaling, and reliability models.
• Support developers: deploy and monitor on-prem and Kubernetes (Helm); troubleshoot builds and deploys; assist with metrics, logs, alerts; participate in chat duties.
