Relout is a consulting agency helping start-ups, software houses and enterprises scale by connecting them with top tech talent. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a modernization project for a client from the financial sector.

The role combines DevOps with software development and automation to automate vulnerability fixes for commonly used libraries. The candidate should design and implement automation solutions, work with Bash or Python, Java plugins, Maven/Gradle and Jenkins, and

Qualifications

• Strong scripting experience, preferably with Bash or Python.
• Practical experience with dependency management using Maven or Gradle.
• Good experience with Jenkins pipelines.
• Experience integrating systems and services through APIs.
• Very good knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
• Ability to independently develop and improve automation solutions.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and software delivery processes.
• English at a minimum B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Developing solutions that automate and streamline delivery of vulnerability fixes for commonly used libraries.
• Creating automation and scripting solutions using Bash and/or Python.
• Developing and maintaining Java plugins.
• Building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines.
• Integrating internal and external services through APIs.
• Developing automation around software delivery and modernization processes.
• Working with Git and established branching strategies.
• Supporting integration between development, CI/CD and repository management tools.
• Analysing existing delivery processes and identifying opportunities for further automation.
• Collaborating with FA Modernization Team on development and improvement of the solution.
