Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a DevSecOps Platform Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines across multiple projects. You will integrate security controls into engineering workflows, automate build, test, and deployment, and drive reliability and compliance in cloud environments.

You will collaborate with developers, architects, and security specialists to promote secure development practices and reusable workflows that accelerate software delivery while maintaining high security

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD platforms and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
• Strong understanding of secure software development and DevSecOps.
• Knowledge of source code management, security scanning, and artifact management.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and containerized environments.
• Problem-solving mindset with a passion for automation and operational excellence.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and related tools.
• Integrate security scanning such as Coverity, Black Duck, Trivy, SonarQube or equivalents.
• Automate build, test, security validation, artifact publishing, and deployment processes.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, PR validations, and repository governance.
• Administer artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory or similar platforms.
• Implement security controls for secrets, dependencies, containers, and infrastructure.
• Support and optimize cloud-based DevSecOps environments in AWS, Azure, or similar clouds.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements.
• Promote reusable workflows, standards, and secure development practices across teams.
