Job summary

Talanto in Kraków is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a modernization project for a financial sector client. You will work on automating vulnerability fixes, developing CI/CD pipelines and Java plugin tooling, using Bash/Python and Jenkins.

You will collaborate with FA Modernization Team to design scalable automation, manage dependencies with Maven/Gradle, and integrate APIs while maintaining Git workflows. The role offers hybrid work (3 days in office, 2 remotely).

Qualifications

• Strong scripting experience, preferably with Bash or Python.
• Dependency management with Maven or Gradle.
• Good experience with Jenkins pipelines.
• Very good knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
• Ability to independently develop and improve automation solutions.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and software delivery processes.
• English at a minimum B2 level.

We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a modernization project for a client from the financial sector. The role is part of the FA Modernization Team and focuses on developing a solution that streamlines and automates the delivery of vulnerability fixes for commonly used software libraries.

This is not a typical infrastructure-focused DevOps role. We are looking for an engineer with a strong scripting and automation background, who is comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines, Java ecosystem tooling and API integrations. The project combines DevOps practices with software development and automation, including building scripts and plugins, managing dependencies and improving the way security-related fixes are delivered across the environment.

We are looking for someone who can independently design and implement automation solutions, understands software delivery processes and is comfortable working with Bash or Python, Java plugins, Maven/Gradle and Jenkins.
