AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Middle Application Security Engineer to drive DevSecOps work across CI/CD security integration, vulnerability tooling, and automated hardened baseline deployment in a large financial services program.

You will write Python scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA gates into pipelines, tune scanners to reduce false positives, and guide Java and Python teams with remediation best practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of combined software engineering and AppSec experience.
• Strong Python coding for automation and scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD security integration and vulnerability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune security scanners to reduce false positives and improve alerts.
• Develop automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Provide code-level remediation guidance to Java and Python teams.
