Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to drive a major migration and modernization of a hybrid infrastructure. You will re-platform and automate 20+ Java and .NET ecosystems to a scalable Azure cloud, while modernizing VM lifecycles and provisioning.

The role emphasises secure governance, Terraform modules, and CI/CD automation across on-prem and cloud. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Azure/Azure DevOps, Terraform, Python/PowerShell, and strong Kubernetes in production, with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production-grade experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps Services.
• Hands-on experience architecting and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform (Core), including state management, modular design, and secure provisioning.
• Skills in Python and PowerShell for writing maintainable automation scripts.
• Excellent knowledge of Git workflows, including branching strategies and PR reviews.
• A solid engineering background in systems administration, networking, and DevOps culture.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale robust Cloud and on-premises environments tailored for complex migration initiatives.
• Design and integrate continuous delivery workflows using GitLab, Jenkins, and CodeDeploy for zero-downtime releases.
• Modernize Virtual Machine lifecycle management and provisioning using best-in-class operational practices.
• Develop and maintain scalable Terraform modules, enforcing rigorous enterprise security and governance through Security Groups and RBAC.
• Write maintainable Python and PowerShell code to automate operational tasks and streamline complex deployments.
