Job summary

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence in Poznan is hiring a (Senior) DevOps Engineer for hybrid working. You will implement best DevOps practices, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and own infrastructure decisions while collaborating with development teams to resolve complex issues.

The role emphasizes automation, platform administration, and proactive improvements in a diverse, global environment with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• At least 3–4 years of practical experience in a DevOps role.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS and on-prem) and Helm.
• Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Experience in AWS Cloud (IAM, VPC, EKS, RDS, Route53, Secrets).
• Experience in Linux administration.
• Understanding of complex system architectures.
• Proficient scripting in Bash and Python.
• Experience with version control (GIT).
• Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager).

Responsibilities

• Introducing and following the best standards in DevOps practice.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline workflows and resolve issues.
• Work independently to diagnose problems, propose solutions, and implement changes with minimal supervision.
• Take ownership of infrastructure related decisions and drive improvements proactively.
• Automation of product deployments.
• System platform administration and monitoring.
• Reproducing, investigating and diagnosing the most complex issues related to supported platform and its architecture.
