Job summary

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence in Poznan is hiring a (Senior) DevOps Engineer for hybrid working. You will implement best DevOps practices, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and own infrastructure decisions while collaborating with development teams to resolve complex issues.

The role emphasizes automation, platform administration, and proactive improvements in a diverse, global environment with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• At least 3–4 years of practical experience in a DevOps role.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS and on-prem) and Helm.
• Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Experience in AWS Cloud (IAM, VPC, EKS, RDS, Route53, Secrets).
• Experience in Linux administration.
• Understanding of complex system architectures.
• Proficient scripting in Bash and Python.
• Experience with version control (GIT).
• Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager).

Job Title: (Senior) Devops Engineer

Essential Skills And Experience

• At least 3-4 years of practical experience in DevOps role
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS and on-prem) and Helm
• Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Experience in AWS Cloud (including IAM, VPC, EKS, RDS, Route53, Secrets)
• Experience in administration of Linux
• Understanding complex system architectures and ability to support creating new ones
• Good knowledge of a scripting language (i.e. Bash, Python)
• Experience with version control system (GIT)
• Experience with monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager)

Would be a plus

• Experience with Terragrunt
• Experience with AWS EKS and Talos
• Experience with AWS cross account connectivity
• Solid understanding of computer networks (configuration and troubleshooting)
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring
• CKA, or CKAD, or CKS certificate
