Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work in a hybrid model from Warsaw. You will partner with software developers, architects, QAs, and operations to optimize delivery, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and design scalable infrastructure.

The role requires strong scripting skills and deep experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration. Responsibilities include managing containers, VMs, logging, monitoring, and ensuring security and reliability across systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development, build automation, delivery and deployment.
• Experience with AWS and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, configuration management and cloud platforms.
• Proficient in scripting with Python, Bash or Groovy; Git proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, architects, QAs and operations to optimize delivery.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Script repetitive tasks and develop self-service tools.
• Design and manage infrastructure.
• Implement and manage containers, run and manage VMs.
• Implement logging, monitoring and alerting.
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure and reliable.
