Job summary

People More is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, orchestrate Kubernetes clusters, and drive secure CI/CD pipelines. You will work with cross-functional teams on production-ready deployments, emphasize observability and incident response, and ensure alignment with security best practices.

This role requires strong English and Polish communication skills and offers an international project environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Experience designing or operating cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Strong observability capabilities: monitoring, logging, alerting, incident management.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles for native infrastructure and apps.
• Experience with databases and messaging systems in production.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven collaboration with developers and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for Senior DevOps Engineer

Your duties will include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, networking configurations, deployment pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, secure, and reliable software delivery.
• Managing, maintaining, and improving Kubernetes clusters and containerized production workloads.
• Implementing and enhancing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to maintain platform stability and performance.
• Supporting incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and improvements to operational processes.
• Working closely with development teams to improve deployment practices, infrastructure reliability, and engineering standards.
• Applying cloud security best practices, including secrets management, access controls, and infrastructure hardening.
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, infrastructure standards, and operational runbooks.
• Identifying opportunities to optimize cloud infrastructure costs, resource utilization, and overall system performance.
• Participating in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across engineering teams.

Requirements that must be met:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience withKubernetes and managing containerized applications in production environments.
• Solid knowledge ofCI/CD tools, deployment automation, and software delivery processes.
• Practical experience withInfrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or similar technologies.
• Experience designing, maintaining, or operating cloud infrastructure inAWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Good understanding of observability, including monitoring, centralized logging, alerting, and incident management.
• Knowledge of security principles and best practices for cloud-native infrastructure and applications.
• Working knowledge of databases and messaging systems used in production environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and cross-functional engineering teams. .
• Very good English and Polish
