Job summary

People More in Kraków is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure, Ansible, and Docker. You will enable fast, secure releases and own CI/CD pipelines with strong emphasis on automation and reliability.

You will collaborate with distributed teams worldwide, ensuring platform stability, observability, and secure practices. The role supports remote work, with an office in Kraków for those who prefer it.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar engineering role.
• Experience with Azure, Ansible or similar IaC tools.
• Familiarity with distributed/event-driven systems and Kafka.
• Strong CI/CD expertise and containerized apps with Docker.
• Experience with monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.
• Ownership mindset with reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent English and Polish language skills.

For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for DevOps / Platform Engineer (Azure, Ansible, Docker).

Your Duties Will Include

• Develop and operate reliable cloud infrastructure and a configuration management ecosystem supporting development, testing, and production environments.
• Enable fast, secure, and predictable software releases by automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support engineering teams in delivering software efficiently.
• Ensure platform stability, performance, and operational visibility through monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Keep critical systems running smoothly by supporting platform services, integrations, and event-driven components.
• Apply secure operational practices, including secrets management, to help protect infrastructure, services, and sensitive data.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to continuously improve automation, reliability, and the overall platform experience.

Requirements That Must Be Met

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or a comparable technical environment.
• Practical experience with cloud environments, Linux systems, and infrastructure automation using Azure, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or similar technologies.
• A strong understanding of automated build, test, and deployment processes, alongside containerized applications using Docker and modern CI/CD solutions.
• Hands-on experience monitoring and operating reliable production systems with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or equivalent solutions.
• A structured and proactive approach, with a strong sense of ownership and a focus on reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Very good English and Polish
