Job summary

People More is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our FinTech platform team. You will design, build, and maintain a production-grade iOS app using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, focusing on clean architecture and robust performance.

Collaborate with product and backend teams, implement CI/CD, test automation, data security, and deliver polished user experiences across devices. English and Polish language skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience, including App Store releases.
• 4+ years of hands-on Swift and SwiftUI and/or UIKit experience.
• 3+ years of iOS test automation with XCTest/XCUITest.
• Strong Swift 5.x knowledge incl. Concurrency, async/await, Actors, Combine.
• Production experience with SwiftUI and UIKit rendering lifecycles.
• Experience with Clean Architecture, MVVM or MVI and modular design.
• Dependency management with SPM and/or CocoaPods.
• Core Data, SwiftData and Keychain Services know-how.
• URLSession, pinning, structured error handling; Instruments profiling.
• CI/CD familiarity (Fastlane/Xcode Cloud); Objective-C interop a plus.
• Fluent English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a production-grade iOS app with clear modules and dependencies.
• Build native iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Implement async/reactive patterns with async/await, Actors, and Combine.
• Develop data persistence and security using Core Data/SwiftData and Keychain.
• Contribute to PRD, technical specs, testing, feature flags, and event tracking.
• Create and maintain unit and UI tests with XCTest/XCUITest.
• Analyze and optimize performance with Instruments and Core Animation.
• Ensure stability by monitoring crashes and preventing regressions with Crashlytics.
• Build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud).
• Integrations between native and web components (WKWebView, Deep Linking, Handoff).
• Collaborate with Eng/Product to shape requirements and prioritize backlog.
• Work with backend on API contracts, auth, and event schemas; assist post-incident reviews.

For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for Senior iOS Engineer – FinTech Platform (Swift / SwiftUI / UIKit).

Your duties will include

• Design, develop, and maintain the architecture of a production-grade iOS application, ensuring clear module boundaries, layered structures, and well-managed dependencies.
• Build and enhance native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Implement asynchronous and reactive programming patterns with async/await, Actors, and Combine.
• Develop data persistence and security mechanisms using Core Data, SwiftData, and Keychain Services.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, including PRD preparation, technical specifications, testing, feature-flag-based releases, and structured event tracking.
• Create and maintain automated unit and UI tests using XCTest and XCUITest.
• Analyze and optimize application performance with Instruments, including Time Profiler, Allocations, Leaks, and Core Animation.
• Ensure production stability by monitoring application crashes, investigating issues, and preventing regressions using tools such as Crashlytics.
• Build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, or equivalent technologies.
• Develop integrations between native mobile functionality and web-based components, including WKWebView, Universal Links, Deep Linking, and Handoff.
• Work closely with Engineering and Product Managers to shape requirements, prioritize the backlog, and propose effective native iOS solutions.
• Collaborate with backend development teams on API contracts, authentication mechanisms, and event schemas.
• Support production incident resolution and participate in post-incident reviews when necessary

Requirements that must be met

• At least 5 years of professional experience developing native iOS applications, including applications released through the App Store.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
• At least 3 years of experience in iOS test automation using XCTest and XCUITest.
• Strong proficiency in Swift 5.x, including Swift Concurrency, async/await, Actors, and Combine.
• Solid production experience with SwiftUI and UIKit, including a good understanding of their rendering lifecycles.
• Practical knowledge of architectural approaches such as Clean Architecture, MVVM, and/or MVI, with an understanding of modular design and separation of concerns.
• Experience managing dependencies with Swift Package Manager and/or CocoaPods.
• Good understanding of dependency inversion principles and designing maintainable, testable code.
• Hands-on experience with Core Data, SwiftData, and Keychain Services
• Knowledge of URLSession, certificate pinning, and structured error-handling mechanisms.
• Experience identifying performance bottlenecks and profiling iOS applications using Instruments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, or similar solutions, including automated code signing.
• Ability to understand and work with Objective-C code, particularly in legacy applications and third-party SDK integrations.
• Very good English and Polish
