Job summary

State Street is seeking a Senior Depositary Analyst to join the Depositary Services team. You will perform and monitor depositary controls covering cash-flow monitoring, safekeeping of assets and general oversight activities.

You will work with asset managers, asset owners and financial institutions globally, contributing to risk-based oversight and process improvements while partnering with colleagues across the deposits services function.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review oversight controls for a portfolio of investment fund clients, including cash-flow monitoring and cash reconciliations.
• Carry out safekeeping oversight for custody and non-custody assets, including ownership verification, registration and reconciliation.
• Review controls relating to fund valuation, subscriptions, redemptions, income distributions, investment restrictions and transfer agency activities.
• Apply a risk-based approach to identify, investigate and elevate higher-risk items, discrepancies, breaches and overdue positions.
• Maintain accurate control documentation, support colleagues and contribute to process, procedure and control improvements.
