Job summary

State Street in Kraków seeks an experienced Senior Depositary Manager (AVP) to lead a Depositary service area of 30–40 staff across junior associates to subject-matter experts.

You will ensure safe, controlled delivery of cash-flow monitoring, safekeeping and ownership verification, and oversight activities while maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders across locations.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of Depositary experience in fund services or related financial services.
• Strong knowledge of private equity, real estate and other alternative investment funds.
• Demonstrated experience managing sizeable, multi-level teams and driving performance.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Depositary service area of 30–40 FTE through a layered management structure.
• Set objectives and accountability for managers and ensure succession coverage.
• Coach and develop managers and specialists, strengthening technical capability.
• Maintain an inclusive, high-performance culture with clear ownership and standards.
• Oversee performance management, development planning and recognition.
