Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks a Senior Depositary Analyst in Kraków to perform and monitor depositary controls for a portfolio of fund clients, including cash-flow monitoring and safekeeping oversight.

The role focuses on risk-based analysis, documentation, and collaboration across the depositary services team. English proficiency is required; German is a plus. Permanent contract and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant experience in financial services, custody, fund administration or depositary services.
• Good understanding of financial markets, investment fund administration and complex investment fund structures.
• Working knowledge of the UCITS and AIFMD regulatory frameworks.
• Confidence using standard office productivity and data-analysis tools.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly German, are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review oversight controls for a portfolio of investment fund clients, including cash-flow monitoring and cash reconciliations.
• Carry out safekeeping oversight for custody and non-custody assets, including ownership verification, registration and reconciliation.
• Review controls relating to fund valuation, subscriptions, redemptions, income distributions, investment restrictions and transfer agency activities.
• Apply a risk-based approach to identify, investigate and identify higher-risk items, pinpoint discrepancies, breaches, overdue positions.
• Maintain accurate control documentation, support colleagues and contribute to process, procedure and control improvements.
