Allegro is seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to drive ML projects from concept to productization. You will tackle business problems with diverse modeling techniques, including GenAI, while processing massive data on Google Cloud Platform. Collaboration with business and data teams is central to the role.

We value a quantitative background and strong SQL/Python skills, plus a business-first mindset and excellent communication to translate analytics into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Proven production ML and SQL experience with end-to-end modeling.
• Ability to translate business problems into ML tasks.
• Strong communication to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Mathematical grounding in statistics and ML algorithms.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and agentic workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to productization to deliver insights and models.
• Work with various modeling techniques including gradient boosting, deep learning, and GenAI.
• Process terabytes of data in Google Cloud Platform across tabular, text, image and time-series data.
• Contribute to offline and online model implementations.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and data engineering teams.
• Mentor peers and share knowledge across the team.
