Job summary

EC Markets in Kraków is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the evolution of a Snowflake-based Data Lakehouse, building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and governance to power analytics and regulatory reporting.

You will own semantic models and dashboards, collaborate with Trading, Finance and Compliance, and mentor the Data Platform team. 5–8 years of hands-on data engineering, Snowflake, dbt and Power BI expertise are required.

Qualifications

Degree and 5–8 years of hands-on data engineering or analytics experience.
Proven experience delivering a Snowflake-based data lakehouse with ETL/ELT pipelines.
Expert SQL and dimensional modelling skills (star/snowflake schemas).
2+ years writing dbt models in production with tests and snapshots.
3+ years building production Power BI reports and DAX.
Strong understanding of data governance, lineage and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

Own Snowflake-centric data lakehouse architecture and data models.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from internal systems and external APIs.
Build semantic models and dashboards for Trading, Finance, Compliance and Operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
