EC Markets LTD is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to lead a Snowflake-based Data Lakehouse, enabling advanced analytics and regulatory reporting. You will architect end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to BI-ready models, with emphasis on data governance and scalable design in a fintech/trading context.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in data engineering, strong SQL, dbt, Power BI, and experience building enterprise data platforms.

Competenze

Experience in financial services, trading or fintech environments.
Proven experience designing and delivering a DWH or Delta Lakehouse using Snowflake.
Expert SQL and data modelling (star/snowflake, dimensional modelling).
2+ years writing dbt models in production (sources, snapshots, tests, macros).
3+ years building Power BI on enterprise warehouses; strong DAX skills.
Strong Snowflake SQL, warehouse sizing, clustering, cost levers.
Familiarity with orchestration and transformation frameworks.
Hands-on data analysis, visualization and operational reporting tools.

Mansioni

Own Snowflake-centric Data Lakehouse architecture and data ingestion.
Develop and support ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources including external APIs.
Create data models, schemas and transformation frameworks for analytics and compliance.
Ensure data governance, lineage and security across lifecycle.
Build semantic models and operational reports for Trading, Finance, Marketing, Compliance.
