• 5–7+ years in Data Engineering or distributed systems.
• 3+ years within the Databricks ecosystem (Delta Lake internals)
• Strong Python and SQL production experience in Azure or AWS
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog and dbt or DLT for orchestration
• Experience with Databricks Apps andPhoton/Liquid Clustering is a plus
• Fluent English (C1+) for stakeholder communication
• Databricks Certifications are encouraged and valued

Responsabilidades

• Architecture & Development: Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark (PySpark) on Databricks.
• Modernization: Migrate legacy data warehouses to Lakehouse architecture with Delta Lake.
• Optimization: Analyze and optimize Spark jobs for performance and cost (partitioning, z-ordering, Photon).
• Standards & Governance: Enforce high code quality through CI/CD and Unity Catalog governance.
• Technical Leadership: Share knowledge with the team and advise clients on best practices and data strategy.
