Job summary

Capgemini in Krakow is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines that support multiple business functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable data solutions, optimize data models, and ensure data security throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on Snowflake experience, SQL proficiency, and knowledge of at least one public cloud.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Big Data or Cloud projects handling large/unstructured data
• Hands-on Snowflake experience with data pipelines or migrations
• Strong SQL skills and ability to design data transformation pipelines
• Familiarity with Snowflake pricing models and cost optimization
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform (storage, compute, networking, DevOps)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines to support business functions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Optimize data models and schemas for performance and efficiency
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across the data lifecycle
• Implement monitoring and alerting to proactively address issues
• Plan and execute migration from on-prem data warehouses to Snowflake
• Develop AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
• Stay updated on Snowflake best practices and emerging technologies
