Job summary

Jit Team is recruiting an experienced HD/BI Architect to support a modern enterprise Data Warehouse ecosystem. You will design and govern hybrid data architectures, integrating cloud analytics with on-prem environments, and lead Data & Analytics best practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with domain architects and solution designers, mentoring teams, and advancing CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code in a hybrid Databricks/Oracle/SAS stack.

Qualifications

• Proven experience defining architectural standards and mentoring HD/BI teams.
• Strong experience designing hybrid architectures (on-premise + cloud).
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data flow design.
• Experience defining and implementing SDLC processes for Data & Analytics solutions.
• Experience automating HD/BI delivery and maintenance with DataOps practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code.

Salary: 1440 - 1600 PLN netto + VAT/ MD

Project

We are looking for an experienced HD/BI Architect to support the development and evolution of a modern enterprise Data Warehouse ecosystem. The role focuses on designing and governing hybrid data architectures, integrating cloud-based analytics platforms with existing on-premise environments, and driving Data & Analytics best practices. The consultant will work within a hybrid architecture landscape that combines Databricks, Oracle Data Warehouse, and SAS solutions, while ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and alignment with business and technology strategies.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design and develop modern Data & Analytics architectures in cooperation with domain architects, business architects, and solution designers
• Define architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for HD/BI solutions
• Support the integration of Databricks cloud platform with existing on-premise Oracle/SAS Data Warehouse environments
• Drive implementation of DataOps practices and SDLC standards across Data & Analytics initiatives
• Automate development and maintenance processes using CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code
• Provide internal technology consulting and architectural guidance
• Ensure consistency and synergy of delivered architectural solutions
• Mentor technical teams in architecture standards and best practices
• Support governance initiatives related to Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience defining architectural standards and mentoring HD/BI teams
• Strong experience designing hybrid architectures (on-premise + cloud) Solid understanding of data modeling and data flow design Experience defining and implementing SDLC processes for Data & Analytics solutions
• Experience automating HD/BI delivery and maintenance processes in line with DataOps practices
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code
• Good understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
• Practical knowledge of Oracle data platforms (Oracle Exadata is a strong advantage)
• Knowledge of SAS 9.4 and/or SAS Viya will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of Databricks will be considered an asset
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Practical knowledge of UML and BPMN
• Experience designing solutions based on Microsoft Azure components
