Job summary

Emerging Travel Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for the Wholesaler BU. You will work at the intersection of product and business analytics on the supply side, analyzing direct inventory and guiding prioritization and segmentation.

You will partner with product, commercial, and international supply teams to turn data into insights, build dashboards, and shape strategic decisions for growth across an international market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
• Solid knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Analytical and critical thinking with ability to formulate key hypotheses.
• Experience applying statistical methods for hypothesis testing and confidence levels.
• Strong stakeholder communication and data visualization to present insights.

Responsibilities

• Research suppliers (direct-contract accommodation providers, hotel chains, and third-party providers) and propose strategic, product, and process improvements to optimize performance on the platform.
• Develop and automate reporting related to our accommodation portfolio for various teams—from SQL templates to auto-refreshing data marts and executive dashboards for C-level stakeholders.
• Analyze internal and external data to improve our hotel offering and participate in Product Discovery for the Extranet (the hotel partners' portal).
• Design and continuously improve analytical algorithms, including prioritization, segmentation, and predictive models, to guide the Business Development team.
