Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking a Senior Manager for TSG Cybersecurity Product Management in Warsaw. You will set strategic product vision, lead a small team, and align stakeholders across functions to deliver impactful security products.

You will guide roadmaps, KPIs, and vendor decisions, while collaborating with product owners, engineering, Legal, and Procurement in a dynamic, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in product management, technology, or a related field.
• Experience setting direction and prioritizing work across a software product area; specifically focused on networking, cloud, and endpoint protection.
• Experience owning outcomes across complex, multi-team initiatives with broad business impact.
• Service security experience is strongly preferred, including an understanding of how security considerations influence product decisions, vendor management, risk mitigation, and service delivery.
• Experience leading cross-functional collaboration to drive alignment and execution.
• Experience working in Agile environments, with an in-depth understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Ability to create and present business cases to senior stakeholders, facilitate discussion, and drive toward consensus.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex requirements for engineering teams and articulate direction to leadership.
• Experience evaluating vendors, making strategic recommendations, managing existing vendor relationships, holding vendors accountable for deliverables, and escalating issues appropriately.
• Ability to define, measure, and track progress against business objectives.
• Strong people management skills, including coaching, development, and effectively leveraging team members’ expertise.
• Ability to navigate difficult situations while maintaining strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create a high-level product vision and roadmap, aligned with firm priorities and balancing business and technical needs.
• Build buy-in for the product suite with senior stakeholders and continuously re-evaluate priorities.
• Communicate the product vision and strategy clearly to product owners and their teams.
• Define and track KPIs and other success measures to evaluate progress against the product vision and business objectives.
• Work with other Product Managers to identify integration points and create a seamless user experience across Bain.
• Evaluate trade-offs, remove roadblocks, and make critical decisions reflecting business and technical needs.
• For vendor-supported products, make well-researched vendor recommendations and coordinate with senior leadership, TSG, Legal, and Procurement.
• For internally developed products, actively participate in relevant Agile ceremonies.
• For some products, manage budgets including professional development and licensing costs, while tracking spend against approved amounts.
• Directly manage a team of 1–2 individuals, supporting their development and performance review input.
• Partner with your supervisor on capacity planning and outsourcing opportunities.
