Job summary

Thomson Reuters Polska Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Counsel to advise on and negotiate complex SaaS, software, data and technology agreements supporting Thomson Reuters products and services.

You will be a hands-on commercial lawyer with experience on the sell side of technology transactions, advising Sales and Product teams within a hybrid work model in Poland. You will handle a broad range of commercial matters, including data protection and cybersecurity, and collaborate with the General

Qualifications

• 7+ years post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• German, French or Spanish language skills or prior experience in these jurisdictions is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of contract and commercial law, particularly SaaS products.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
• Authorisation to practice law.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of customer-facing and partner agreements including SaaS and information licensing.
• Identify legal, regulatory and compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with the General Counsel Office on enterprise-wide legal issues and projects.
• Provide legal guidance to Sales, Product Management and other business teams.
