Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Software Developer to work on the platform powering Zebra's fixed industrial smart cameras and desktop applications. You will contribute to two cross-platform native codebases: the on-device runtime engine and the core machine-vision tools integration library.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of work experience.

Responsibilities

Establishes requirements and prioritizes features for cross-platform native software projects.
Delivers high-performance, product-ready tools using modern C++ (C++23).
Leads code reviews and mentors junior staff, with a focus on quality.
Explores agentic AI programming tools to accelerate coding and improve implementations.
Optimizes real-time image-processing pipelines and IPC on constrained hardware.
Develops tests and comprehensive documentation; supports deployment.
