Job summary

Zebra Technologies’ Machine Vision division in Poland is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team developing next-generation smart cameras. You will work deep in the Linux-based platform, designing robust, high-performance software for core machine vision features and sensors integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field.
• 2+ years embedded software experience.
• Strong C/C++ in embedded systems; deep Linux kernel/driver experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex software projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for our smart camera products using C and C++.
• Work on the Linux kernel, device drivers, and system-level services to ensure optimal performance and stability.
• Collaborate with hardware and algorithm teams to integrate new sensors and cutting-edge machine vision features.
• Optimize system performance, including boot time, power consumption, and data throughput.
• Champion best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Explore and implement AI-powered solutions to enhance development workflows and product capabilities.
