Job summary

ZF Group in Wrocław is seeking a Senior Commodity Buyer to develop and execute sourcing strategies, analyze market trends, and drive cost optimization for assigned commodities. You will manage strategic supplier relationships and negotiate terms to achieve value objectives.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality and operations to support business needs and drive improvements in supplier performance in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or commodity management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supply risks to support sourcing decisions.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships including performance reviews.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost objectives.
• Drive cost optimization via alternative sourcing and value engineering.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and operations to meet business needs.
