Job summary

ZF Group in Poland seeks a Purchasing – Procurement Strategy Expert (f/m/d) to lead global purchasing strategy development and execution. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts, address business needs with localization and market trends, and drive cost transparency to improve P&L while managing supplier relationships and governance as GPO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of advanced purchasing experience (technical/commodity purchasing, project management, or purchasing management).
• Basic understanding of business processes and ERP/workflow tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Clear communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of end-to-end purchasing strategy globally.
• Develop cross-functional strategies addressing business needs, including localisation and market/technology trends.
• Drive cost optimizations and transparency to support P&L improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships, organize events and sourcing conventions.
• Provide training and governance as Global Process Owner (GPO).
• Lead process/system improvement initiatives based on feedback and data analytics.

• Lead the development and execution of the end to end purchasing strategy globally.
• Develop strategies cross functionally to address business needs, including localisation and market / technology trends.
• Drive cost optimizations and transparency to support P&L improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships to improve collaboration, communication and performance, including organisation of events and sourcing conventions.
• Support users as GPO (Global Process Owner), providing training, problem solving and process governance.
• Lead improvement initiatives related to processes or systems, based on user feedback and data analytics.

Your profile as a Purchasing - Procurement Strategy Expert (f/m/d):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.
• 3-5 years of advanced experience in a professional purchasing capacity (i.e. technical/commodity purchasing, purchasing project management, purchasing management, etc.).
• Basic understanding of business processes and systems, preferably with exposure to ERP or workflow tools.
• Good project management, analytical and problem solving skills to resolve user questions and operational issues.
• Clear communication skills.
• Background working with cross-functional teams or supporting multiple users/stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
