Job summary

ZF is seeking a Purchasing - Procurement Strategy Expert (f/m/d) in Częstochowa, Poland. This on-site, full-time role focuses on leading end-to-end purchasing strategy globally, driving cost optimizations, and enhancing supplier collaboration within the ADAS & HPC business unit undergoing transformative growth.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, ensure governance and process improvements, and contribute to P&L performance while supporting multiple stakeholders in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.
• 3-5 years of advanced experience in a professional purchasing capacity.
• Good project management, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of end-to-end purchasing strategy globally.
• Develop cross-functional strategies to address business needs, including localisation and market/technology trends.
• Drive cost optimizations and transparency to support P&L improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships to improve collaboration and performance.
• Support users as Global Process Owner (GPO), providing training and governance.
• Lead improvement initiatives related to processes or systems.

What you can look forward to as a Purchasing – Procurement Strategy Expert (f/m/d)

• Lead the development and execution of the end to end purchasing strategy globally.
• Develop strategies cross functionally to address business needs, including localisation and market / technology trends.
• Drive cost optimizations and transparency to support P&L improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships to improve collaboration, communication and performance, including organisation of events and sourcing conventions.
• Support users as GPO (Global Process Owner), providing training, problem solving and process governance.
• Lead improvement initiatives related to processes or systems, based on user feedback and data analytics.

Your profile as a Purchasing - Procurement Strategy Expert (f/m/d)

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.

3-5 years of advanced experience in a professional purchasing capacity (i.e. technical/commodity purchasing, purchasing project management, purchasing management, etc.).

Basic understanding of business processes and systems, preferably with exposure to ERP or workflow tools.

Good project management, analytical and problem solving skills to resolve user questions and operational issues.

Clear communication skills.

Background working with cross-functional teams or supporting multiple users/stakeholders.

Fluency in English.
