Remitly Poland sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Builder Platform organization across Kraków and the US. This hands‑on leadership role emphasizes building a high‑performing engineering organization while staying close to technical work, setting strategy, and guiding cross‑functional teams.

You will champion AI‑first practices, drive cost optimization, and own cloud primitives architectures, with a focus on self‑service and scalable infrastructure across regions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi‑team engineering organization across countries and time zones.
• Proven ability to set long‑range cloud strategy with roadmaps, OKRs, and headcount plans.
• Hands‑on capability: write code, review architecture, and deep technical problem solving.
• Strong stakeholder communication across geographies.

Responsabilités

• Champion an AI‑first engineering culture and integrate AI agents into infrastructure.
• Drive FinOps and cost optimization across cloud spend with finance and engineering.
• Own IaC strategy building reusable patterns for teams to adopt.
• Architect for global presence with multi‑region, multi‑cloud/hybrid strategies.
• Lead and grow engineering teams across Krakow and the US; focus on self‑service builder experience.
• Stay hands‑on: review designs and code, participate in incidents when needed.
• Collaborate with Security, SRE, and Builder Experience on shared infrastructure solutions.
