Remitly Poland Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Director of Engineering for Builder Infrastructure to lead three teams across Kraków and the US. You will shape multi-year strategy, champion reliable, secure infrastructure, and drive AI-operated platforms to scale globally.

You will manage cloud, container, and security domains, delivering product-like infrastructure with clear interfaces and cost discipline, while working in a hybrid Kraków-based setup.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple infra or platform teams through managers across geographies.
• Track record delivering a multi-year infrastructure strategy that scales engineering orgs.
• Experience building AI-driven infrastructure and agent-based ops.
• Security and compliance design as code from the start.

Responsibilities

• Define a strategy for Builder Infrastructure aligned with growth.
• Design domain boundaries and ownership across Kraków and the US.
• Lead engineering managers and senior engineers; build bench strength.
• Run infrastructure as a product with published APIs and metrics.
• Own security implementation end-to-end; enforce least privilege.
