Job summary

Commerzbank AG in Poland is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design resilient cloud architectures, optimize performance and ensure cost efficiency for data analytics workloads.

You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across the Sales Analytics Cluster to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions on GCP, leveraging Terraform, Airflow, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD.
• Experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing frameworks.
• Ability to mentor and lead team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize scalable cloud-native solutions on GCP.
• Improve performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency of cloud platforms.
• Design and support data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytical workloads.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Join our team as a Senior Cloud Engineer!

Are you experienced in database engineering and leveraging cloud-based technologies? Join our dynamic and innovative team in the Sales Analytics Cluster, where we turn data into actionable insights using the latest advanced analytics and AI solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing resilient cloud architectures, improving platform performance and cost efficiency, and enabling scalable data-processing solutions that support advanced analytics and AI-driven use cases.

Working closely with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement of our cloud ecosystem and ensure operational excellence across applications, infrastructure, and data platforms.

What you will be doing?

• Design and optimize scalable cloud-native solutions on GCP.
