Job summary

Commerzbank AG in Łódź, Poland, seeks an AI Solutions Engineer to drive automation and AI integration within our Process Platform & Automation cluster. You will shape agentic workflows and deploy AI-enabled solutions across banking processes.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and developers to deliver production-ready, scalable solutions that meet regulatory requirements and support excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI/automation projects and data-driven workflows.
• Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled automation.
• Knowledge of end-to-end process analysis and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Understand end-to-end business problems, analyze data and identify high-value AI opportunities.

Join our team as an AI Solutions Engineer (m/f/d)!

Description of the cluster:

The Process Platform & Automation (PPA) cluster drives Commerzbank’s process automation, workflow orchestration and intelligent automation capabilities, with a strong focus on Data Science-enabled solutions and agentic workflows.

We deliver automated solutions and shared platforms, tools, and approaches (e.g. Lego) that enable efficient delivery for our own area and other units. This is based on close collaboration with the business units and the DO – working as one committed team to achieve successful outcomes.

With us, you will not only work "somehow with AI” but actively shape how Commerzbank uses automation and artificial intelligence for more efficiency and excellent customer experience.

Are you passionate about integrating state-of-the-art technologies such as agentic AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) into banking processes? Would you like to implement AI solutions in our automation platforms to create real added value? Then you've come to the right place!

You will be responsible for

• Understand end-to-end business problems, analyze relevant data and identify high-value opportunities where Data Science, generative AI and agentic workflows can improve efficiency, quality and customer experience.
• Assess use cases regarding business value, data availability, statistical feasibility, operational impact, implementation effort and alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives.
• Design and implement AI-supported agents, data-driven automation solutions and LLM-supported workflows using suitable software development practices.
• Develop sustainable and tailored solutions that combine technological innovation with the bank’s business objectives.
• Integrate AI models into cloud infrastructures to ensure their scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, architects, developers and business stakeholders to ensure that implemented solutions are production-oriented, maintainable and aligned with banking requirements.

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• Good knowledge of Automation, AI use case assessment and agentic workflow design
• High knowledge of Business process analysis and requirements engineering
• Good knowledge of Software development, Python and SQL
• Basic knowledge of Cloud, AI model integration and automation platforms
• Basic knowledge of JIRA / Confluence and stakeholder communication
