Job summary

XM is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to drive cloud-native initiatives across our group. You will design migrations, re-platform existing infrastructure, and ensure adherence to Well Architected standards. Collaboration with multiple IT teams and ongoing cost optimization will be key.

You should bring 5 years of cloud experience (3 on AWS), strong IaC skills (Terraform, CloudFormation) and mentoring abilities. The role offers remote options with international exposure.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar discipline.
• 5 years of cloud services experience, 3 on AWS.
• Advanced knowledge in solution design and deployment projects.
• Understanding and practice of Well Architected Framework.
• Methodical troubleshooting and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Practise Well Architected Framework across tasks.
• Research workloads for cloud migration with minimal interruption.
• Design, orchestrate and track cloud migration projects.
• Design and consult re-platform and refactor of cloud infrastructure.
• Coordinate with IT teams about cloud infrastructure.
• Assess cloud deployments against standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement fair use policies for cloud services.
