Job summary

Accenture plc in Warsaw is seeking an AWS migrations specialist to plan and deliver on-premises migrations to AWS using VMware, Hyper-V and physical servers. You will leverage Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible and PowerShell to automate migrations while expanding your cloud expertise across EC2, VPC, IAM, DataSync and more.

Work will include collaborating with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, with a flexible model allowing remote and onsite work as project requires.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of practical AWS experience, including hands-on migration projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS services and migration technologies (EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, MGN, DMS, DataSync).
• Windows Server administration (2012 R2–2025) with Active Directory, DNS, GPO, file services; virtualization with VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V.
• PowerShell scripting and IaC with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation; good TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• English and Polish at B2 level or above; able to discuss technical topics with client stakeholders and owners.
• Willingness to support migration cutovers outside regular hours or in a 24/7 model when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver on-premises migrations to AWS from VMware, Hyper-V and physical servers.
• Assess environments with discovery services and migrate Windows workloads (AD-integrated apps, IIS, SQL, file services).
• Automate infrastructure and migrations with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, PowerShell.
• Collaborate with application, security, network, database, vendor and architecture teams to ensure secure, compliant migrations.
