Job summary

Talan is seeking a Senior Calypso Developer to join a dedicated technology team in Wroclaw, Poland. The role centers on supporting Capital Markets operations, building Calypso customizations, and integrating systems across Front, Middle, Risk, and Back Office functions.

You will contribute to architecture, performance, and platform upgrades while mentoring junior developers and collaborating with global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Calypso.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL databases.
• Understanding of Capital Markets and financial products.
• Experience with integrations, APIs, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures.
• Ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Calypso Developer to join a newly formed technology team supporting the Capital Markets operations of a leading European banking organization.

This is a unique opportunity to help build a team from the ground up and play a key role in the evolution, support, customization, and enhancement of a large-scale Calypso environment used across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Back Office functions.

The role also offers long-term project stability, exposure to complex financial products, and the possibility of future internalization with the client after a certain period of collaboration.

Responsibilities
