Talan, an international consulting group, seeks a Senior Calypso Developer to join a new technology team supporting Capital Markets operations for a leading European bank. You will design, develop, and maintain Calypso customizations and Java-based solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to evolve a large-scale Calypso environment across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Back Office functions.

On-site in Wroclaw, Poland, with long-term project stability and potential internalization

Competenze

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Calypso.
• Solid Java development background.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL databases.
• Understanding of Capital Markets and financial products.
• Experience with integrations, APIs, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures.
• Ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English: C1

Job Description

Location: Wrocław, Poland (On-site)

Relocation: Candidates located elsewhere in Poland are welcome to apply and should be open to relocating to Wrocław.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Calypso Developer to join a newly formed technology team supporting the Capital Markets operations of a leading European banking organization.

This is a unique opportunity to help build a team from the ground up and play a key role in the evolution, support, customization, and enhancement of a large-scale Calypso environment used across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Back Office functions.

The role also offers long-term project stability, exposure to complex financial products, and the possibility of future internalization with the client after a certain period of collaboration.
